To lay pavers like a professional, you need to create a detailed plan of the project.
You then need to put some pegs in the ground to mark out the layout of the paving.
Pick a reference point to base the placing of your marker pegs around.
Measure out the finished height of the paver, based on any existing structures like steps.
Next you need to set out the levels, using a dumpy level or a piece of clear tubing and water to create a level.
Don’t forget to factor in that you need 15mm of fall, per metere of paving to provide a runoff angle, preventing the build up of water on the paved area.
Then install drainage to prevent flooding of your garden or your neighbours yard.
We then show you the final step in setting out which is assembling stringlines.
