Often, it’s hard to locate exactly where the tape starts, and even more difficult to pull it up with your fingernails once you do locate it!
Next time you’re using a roll of tape, have a paperclip handy.
All you need to do is position the paperclip on the sticky side of the tape as close to the roll just before you cut it.
When you cut the tape, the paperclip will stay in place, indicating where the tape starts, and also making it easier for you to pull up the tape to unroll it.
When you need to cut a new piece, simply reposition the tape and repeat the process.
