Try something new this Christmas by presenting your guests’ place cards in a new way.
First, place a pretty pinecone on the plate at each setting, then tuck a computer-printed or hand-written place card between the scales.
If pinecones are unavailable, you can also employ other holiday trinkets, such as mini ornaments, small bells or even tiny wrapped packages. For a contemporary, eclectic look, consider using a variety of items.
Place the wine glasses you’ll be using at dinner upside down over each of the place cards. If desired, tie a ribbon to the stem of each glass.
